The Software
LawPage is not just a software application, but the software application is what makes it special. Designed by practicing lawyers (a barrister and a solicitor) for lawyers, LawPage’s application allows lawyers to work in the way they want to, without the straight jacket of workflows and enforced procedures that do not reflect an individual’s way of working.
LawPage clients can manage their own diaries, have LawPage do it for them, or enjoy a combination of the two.
A user can update their own diary in their favourite calendar application, for example Microsoft’s Outlook or Apple’s Calendar, or they can do this via LawPage’s software platform, or all three! The point is that each reads from and writes to the same data store, so there is no duplication of data, and no duplication of effort.
Lawpage’s integration with Courtserve also ensures that last minute court listings are not overlooked.
LawPage makes time recording and billing easy and its dedicated practice manager will take care of credit control.

A key design-consideration for the LawPage application was that users must be able to work using their preferred devices, so that it is truly platform agnostic. The result is that users can access their data from anywhere, at anytime, from any device.
This doesn’t mean the application and users’ data is any less secure – multi-factor authentication and data encryption are just two ways that LawPage ensures data security and integrity.
The LawPage software platform is built around the core Microsoft 365 products that lawyers use everyday, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS OneDrive and MS Sharepoint.
Users can create, edit and/or share their work product from within LawPage, and easy-to-use templates means case-related data is merged into documents without having to re-enter the information.

- Files never leave a client’s digital space
- Files and case-related data will be auto-deleted after a defined period of time (which can be extended), so users never unwittingly hold on to data longer than is necessary.
- LawPage will proactively assist clients to achieve Cyber Essentials accreditation.
The LawPage software applications helps lawyers manage their case files securely and efficiently, but doesn’t enforce a way or working on its users.
All of a matter’s files are stored within a user’s business SharePoint site, which that business (not LawPage) manages. The content can easily be synchronised to a user’s OneDrive folder, and therefore a user’s own device. Files can be organised in folders, and/or categorised according to user-definable taxonomies. Smart tags automatically be applied to files and emails to make future retrieval and sharing easy.
The Office
LawPage’s Mayfair Place facilities represent an intentional break with the traditional Inns of Court locations and offer a prestigious location with personalised support. Our intelligent telephone answering service allows its receptionists to have personal knowledge of, and contact with LawPage’s barrister clients, who can update in real time bespoke electronic instructions regarding how and by whom they wish their calls to be answered. Messages and voicemails are emailed instantly. Our mail and courier management also ensures that barristers can receive mail, no matter where they are physically located.
The Team
The team driving LawPage includes highly respected and established practising lawyers and a seasoned software developer. The company engaged to develop and support the software, under the project management of Patrick McBratney, is Modus Create.
