Diary management

An advantage of stepping away from the traditional chambers / clerks model to that which LawPage offers, is the freedom and practicality afforded to barristers in respect of their professional diaries. For any individual matter that a barrister opens, they will easily be able to see the list of upcoming appointments relating to that matter, which is also synced to their diary.

Whereas at a chambers, diaries are managed and controlled by clerks who often take some considerable time to consult the barrister directly regarding their availability for a certain case and where barristers frequently have no control over diary entries and limited visibility, LawPage uses a Practice Manager, who has direct responsibility for managing individual diaries on a system with shared access where an individual has full autonomy over entries . Each individual barrister can chose how their diary and appointments are managed, how invitations are accepted, how enquiries are responded to and by whom – all at the speed of electronic communication.

Potential clients who contact LawPage at One Mayfair Place Chambers by telephone can initially be connected by the receptionist to the Practice Manager, who has access to each individual LawPage client / barrister’s professional diaries, directly to the barrister, or to a messaging service that will send an instant voicemail as an email attachment.
